Danté has extensive local and international experience. Across his career he has worked with several leading brands including; Ferrero Rocher, L’Oréal, Toyota, Unilever, Sony Pictures, La Motte, Leopard’s Leap, SWAN, Microsoft, Lindt and many more.
He has held senior roles as the National Digital Director of Universal McCann and the Joint Head of Strategy for award-winning digital agency SapientNitro in Australia.
Danté, grew up in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. He was raised in an entrepreneurial driven family. His parents owned a number of different businesses. From a takeaway cafe, hardware shop, dairy, computer training, farming, antiques, guesthouses, sand delivery, building to tractor hire!
By the age of 21 he had learnt many valuable lessons on entrepreneurship. He read two books that would change the course of his life forever. Books by David Ogilvy and Jay Conrad Levinson. He applied their learnings and witnessed real time how good advertising sells and grows businesses. He enrolled at the prestigious AAA School of Advertising where he completed his post graduate degree in Marketing.
Danté’s corporate career started off in 2002 in Cape Town with MWEB. Digital marketing at the time was in its infancy. Tiny budgets were spent online. Today, many years later, digital has the highest advertising spend across many countries. He spent 3 years in London and 6.5 years in Sydney, Australia.
In 2012, he pursued his dream to start his own agency. He wanted to create an agency where he could use all the entrepreneurial lessons learnt growing up and combine them with all the digital marketing knowledge gained over the years, to help business grow.
Conversion Advantage, has since has since grown into one of the leading independent digital marketing agencies, having worked with leading brands across South Africa, Australia, UK and Mauritius.
