Requirements

  • Proven track record and working experience in the public relations field, preferably within a media and/or communications and/or advertising agency.
  • Solid experience with and understanding of social media campaigns and social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, IG, Snapchat, and all the channels that haven’t even been discovered yet.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at a local, national and international level.
  • Strong relationships with local and national businesses and industry media outlets – international relationships are a big plus.
  • Project management skills are imperative as this is a high energy environment and you will have to think on your feet, shoot from the hip and be ready to roll with the punches (and the glasses of wine).
  • BA/MA degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Event planning experience will be a plus.
  • A digital native who understands and appreciates all things digital.
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in broadcast, print, digital and social media interviews.

We are in search of three digital marketing interns to join our growing team in the heart of the Cape Winelands in Paarl.

As an intern you will be expected to assist the digital marketing team in all areas of SEO, PPC, strategy, reporting and content for our clients as well as our own brand. We are looking for energetic individuals who are hungry to learn and keen to evolve with our dynamic team. Ideally we would like digital marketing graduates who are looking to enter the workplace, ready to grab the digital game by the horns, and make a mark in the industry.

Key competencies:

  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Capable of working within tight deadlines to reach individual weekly or monthly goals in a high-pressure environment.
  • Project scoping: understanding client needs by obtaining a clear brief and distilling it into clear communication objectives.
  • Assisting your manager/s with SEO, PPC and content strategies and providing backup and support to the digital marketing team in terms of digital and social media best practices.

As an intern you will be expected to do the necessary research as well as writing and checking of articles related to our numerous clients. You will be producing content that will feature as blog posts, newsletters and social media posts. You will need to be able to write like the wind and produce well-researched content of an international standard, that is on par with industry best practices. If you think you have what it takes to produce quality newsworthy content at a speedy rate, while keeping your cool under pressure, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key competencies:

  • Proficiency in English (written and oral) and one other South African language.
  • Capable of working within tight deadlines to reach individual weekly or monthly goals in a high-pressure environment.

As CA’s PPC Specialist you will be expected to be at the forefront of what’s happening in the world of PPC. Apart from coming up with cutting-edge pay per click solutions for our various clients, you will be expected to assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, daily and monthly report backs, and overseeing all PPC campaigns and activities.

Responsibilities

You'll be working for a broad range of international and national clients where your skills will be stretched and you'll be challenged with new projects every day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the online planning process and provide recommendations.
  • Daily management of paid search plans which could include things like budgets and accounting, execution responsibilities and bid suggestions.
  • Build both short and long term PPC strategies for a variety of client accounts.
  • Oversee keyword analysis, keyword list building, campaign bid management and optimisation using client preferred tracking tools and ad copy testing.
  • Conduct Google Analytics metrics analysis to measure user engagement and campaign performance.
  • Work with a diverse range of clients to implement inbound marketing strategies.
  • Daily collaboration with team members and clients to achieve cross-channel, integrated marketing solutions.

Requirements
